Protecting water quality is a challenge that requires everyone’s participation, and we thank you for your support in this important mission.

Volunteer for the RSVL sampling

The Voluntary Lake Monitoring Network (RSVL) pursues the following four objectives:

Acquire data to establish the trophic level of a large number of lakes and track their evolution over time.
Identify lakes showing signs of eutrophication and degradation.
Educate, raise awareness, support, and inform shoreline associations and other participants.
Provide an overall picture of the status of recreational lakes in Quebec.

Selected volunteers will participate in sampling the water clarity of Lake Davignon. This involves conducting 10 tests during the summer, from June to October, using a Secchi disk (a specialized instrument). Training will be provided at the beginning of the summer.
